The Argali Yukon 8P Insert fits inside the Yukon 8P Tent to provide full double wall coverage for approximately 1/3rd of the tent, providing a comfortable enclosed sleeping area for up to 2 people with plenty of space for gear inside of the insert. The 8P Half Insert fits on either end of the Yukon 8P Tent, so you can fit up to two half inserts inside the Yukon 8P Tent and still have the center of the tent (between the center poles), free for gear storage or hanging out.

Setup

With the Yukon 8P Tent already set up, lay the insert on the ground with the door opening facing the center of the tent. There are small wire gate carabiners on the edge of the insert floor. Connect the wire gate carabiners to the inside corners of the Yukon Tent. so the zippered door is facing the center pole. Once the wire gate carabiners are connected, with the zipper door facing the center of the tent, open up the insert door and place the center pole inside the top cone on the half insert, and then connect the top cones of the insert and the tent.

Place the bottom of the pole on the circular shaped fabric reinforcement on the half insert. Once the pole is properly in place, close the zipper door and snug up the bathtub floor by pulling the paracord attached to the line-loc adjusters on the corners of the half insert. This is most easily done by walking around from the outside of the tent.

Detailed Overview

The Argali Yukon 8P Insert fits roughly 1/3rd of the tent, and you can fit up to two inserts on either end of the tent in the Yukon 8P Tent. With the insert attached, the other half of the tent that can be used in conjunction with the Skyline Ti Wood Stove for cold weather camping.

The Yukon 8P Insert is ideal for use when bugs are an issue, or you just prefer an enclosed sleeping area.

Note- You cannot use two inserts AND a stove as the second insert will cover up the stove jack.
