Rincon 2P Tent

Regular price $259.00 $0.00 Unit price per

The Rincon 2P is the ideal lightweight 2 person mountain tent, with a single trekking pole pitch, spacious interior, removable stove jack, no-sag when wet fabric, single zipper door, and modified rectangular shape for optimal pitching in uneven terrain.  The Rincon is built for 4 season use and features sewn-in line-loc adjusters on all guy-out points for quick and easy pitching. Designed to be a spacious 2 person tent for riding out storms or 1 person palace with a stove, the Rincon strikes a balance between space, weight and size ideal for mountain hunting.

With a modified rectangular shape, the Rincon sets up easily and quickly and there is no guess-work to get the pitch right every time. The shape is also optimized for an efficient space to weight ratio, easily fitting two large people and all of your gear. The Rincon 2P is made from our lightweight yet strong ripstop polyester fabric that won't sag when wet, maintaining the usable space inside the tent in wet weather.

The Rincon also features sewn in line-loc adjusters on all guy-out points for quick and easy pitching adjustments. Pitch it low to the ground for full weather protection and to block drafts, or higher to allow for more air flow. The Rincon is also sewn with a silicone coated thread and double lap-felled seams, making it highly water resistant out of the box.

The Rincon 2P also comes with our ARC Removable Stove Jack System, designed to be run in lightweight mode or stove mode when you want a hot tent. With our zippered stove jack design, the removable stove jack allows you to keep tent weight and bulk to a minimum during warmer months if you aren't using a stove, while allowing stove use during the colder months, all with a single tent. Gone are the days of having to pack around a dedicated stove jack when you aren't using it.

The Rincon 2P is ideal for two people and normal amounts of gear, or 1 person with a stove and lots of gear. The Rincon can be used as a floorless shelter or with the Rincon 2P Insert with a bathtub floor/mesh body for full double wall coverage (sold separately). A carbon fiber center pole can also be used to pitch the tent (sold separately).

Please allow an additional 5-7 business days for your order to ship if you elected to have us seam seal your tent.

The Rincon 2P needs to be seam sealed to be fully waterproof. You can do it yourself with the seam sealer included with your purchase, or we can do it for you for an extra charge. For more information on seam sealing, check out our seam sealing instruction page.

First floorless tent

Purchased because I was tired of hauling my 20 year old MSR Hubba Hubba around for my solo adventures/hunts. Without the insert, the tent shed over 3 lbs from my pack weight and took my total sleep system (shelter, sleeping bag, and pad) to 6.25 lbs. I've spent about 7 nights in it now and I've been very pleased with the performance, overall.

I don't plan to use the half insert except during bug season, however, I wish the door was designed better. I don't like how when it is unzipped it is laying in the "threshold" of the tent. When unzipped, it should hang and not drag on the ground in my opinion.

The stove is great, but hasn't been cold enough to really need yet. It really takes up a lot of the usable space in the tent. And I'm going to have trouble figuring out how to maneuver around it while I'm in the tent with all my gear and trying not to melt my sleeping bag. I bet this stove really shines in the 4-man tent, but it's nice that it works with the 2-man tent, and i look forward to trying it out in real conditions this fall.

The tent fabric is great, and i'm very careful with where I set it up, because it seems very delicate. The stuff sack that It stows in seems to be made of the same material and already has 3 holes small holes/slices in it from getting stuffed in the backpack next to other things. I think the stuff sack could be slightly heavier without costing a lot of weight. Nobody wants to realize at 2am when it's raining that their tent has a hole in it. Unfortunately, I'm using a more durable stuff sack and retiring the argali one that it came with.

I love the orange/grey color scheme. of the tent.

The tent stakes are strong and sturdy. Overall, really nice tent. As long as it holds up, I'll probably also get the 4person version for next year.

Great tent

Used it this season on my archery hunt. First night was a bit windy so it was loud when it would flick. I tightened the straps and that helped a lot. I’ll definitely be more conscious of where I pitch it in future and try my best to be out of the wind.

Overall great tent. Super happy. Can’t beat the weight and ease of setup

Cheers

Rincon 2p w half insert

Bought this tent in 2025 for an elk hunt in Colorado. First impression was that the tent is well built, seams were sealed very well (Argali Sealed them), and it was light weight.
I packed the tent in and hunted in the back country for about a week. During that week it rained almost every night. We had two nights with some bad storms (heavy rain, strong winds, thunder, lightning), and the tent held up very well. The tent did not leak, didn't move in the winds, and even handled a bird hitting it t pretty hard going after a grasshopper. During that week the tent did not show any signs of wear and performed well. The only problem I saw was some condensation build up, but that was to be expected as I was more concerned about the wind then moisture, so I sealed the tent tight to the ground.
I'm just under 6ft tall, stocky guy, and I found the tent to have plenty of room for me and my gear. This tent would easily sleep 2 people with some gear in it if you wanted to do that. With the half insert I was able to keep the bugs out of my sleeping area and stored my gear on the other side of the tent. This helped to keep my sleeping area clean for the most part since my gear and insert were separated in the tent.
I was happy with the Rincon's performance, and I would buy this tent again. I will likely look into another Argali tent for the family/group hunts.

Works great

A little hard to get setup correctly at first. Probably should have watch video on how to do it. Tent works great no issues so far.
