Piton tent stakes are sold in bundles of 6.
Simple, light, effective. All the things you want in a stake. I have bent one, but that was in pretty rocky ground. And honestly, any stake would have failed there, and a slightly bent stake is way better than a broken stake (and I have broken other brands).
It’s a lightweight tent stake. It holds things down and it weighs next to nothing. Oh the color is cool too.
They worked as intended
The stakes are light and hold well in the ground with my selway 6 tipi tent. They even did a good job in wind storms on a caribou hunt in the tundra. The main downside I can see is 3 of the 12 stakes bent. The ground was pretty hard, when they bent, but it was still disappointing. One bent on the tip and the other 2 bent on the head where it gets narrow. I would still recommend these stakes. I had some MSR ground hog stakes with me that I used the rest of the trip where the ground was hard.
