The Argali Absaroka 4P half insert fits inside the Argali Absaroka 4P tent to provide full double wall coverage for half of the tent, providing a comfortable enclosed sleeping area for up to two people (half of the tent) and leaving the other half of the tent available as a large vestibule area for cooking, gear and sitting. With the half insert attached, the other half of the tent that can be used in conjunction with the Skyline Ti Wood Stove for cold weather camping as well.

The Absaroka Half Insert features our innovative quick connect design making connecting, setting up and getting the pitch right easy and fast. The Absaroka half Insert is designed to be a "floating" bathtub floor, which allows for greater versatility when pitching in slightly uneven terrain.

The Absaroka insert is designed to easily and quickly connect to the Absaroka tent via 4 lightweight sliding wire gate carabineers that clip into sewn-in pieces of cord on the inside corners of the tent and the door paracord guyots.

Setup

With the Absaroka Tent already set up, connect the wire gate carabiners to the inside corners of one side of the Absaroka Tent (the side without a zipper door). Once the corners are connected, with the door facing the center of the tent, connect the two remaining carabiners to the paracord on the doors. Open up the insert door and place the center pole inside the top cone on the half insert, and then connect the top cones of the insert and the tent. Place the bottom of the pole on the circular shaped fabric reinforcement on the half insert. Once the pole is prperly in place, close the zipper door and snug up the bathtub floor by pulling the paracord attached to the line-loc adjusters on the corners of the half insert.

Perfect Insert

Great design and incredibly light but rugged. This should make for a well rounded and versatile kit across any season. I started with purchasing the Rincon 2P and wanted something a little bigger for those occasions I'm not alone or just want the extra space. The simplicity of the design and its use are an incredible balance with how well it performs in a wide range of locations where I hike, hunt and camp in Alaska.

Just what you needed

Love this insert, it allows me to utilize their stove once it comes out and keep the bugs away during that transition time before winter really sets in. This Insert is larger and doesn't compress as well at the 4P tent. Argali has been spot on with the weights of everything that they have in the descriptions which is a huge plus. The only gripe I have is pricing on some of the stuff, I wish it was made locally in my backyard but being imported it would be nice to see some savings passed onto us the consumer.

Not a bad addition to the 4p tent. For those wondering the tent is smaller in the stuff sack vs this or the full insert. All 3 came within a margin of error for described weights. But for 180$ I think it's just a little steep.

The half insert is a must have, maximizing comfort, gear storage and cooking space. It takes care of early season condensation issues and the spiders won't crawl across your face at night.
