Its a pole

What more is there to say its a carbon pole in sections. They nailed making the poles the same length so that its easier to pack. That said I think utilizing trekking poles you already have with something like the seek outside pole attachment deal is a better option for the cost savings. Then once your in the woods find urself a stick that's the right height. But some like myself have this guy, trekking poles and the adaptor that connects them from Argali and having the flexibility of being able to choose what you take into the woods based on where your going.
