The Argali Serac is a lightweight, backcountry hunting knife with a full handle grip and a modified skinning style blade designed to cut up any big game animal without needing to be sharpened. Complete with a ferro rod striker built into the spine of the knife, we designed the Serac for those that prefer a deeper belly knife, but still want a "do it all" knife for field butchering. With a deep belly and a drop point blade tip for tight spaces and detail work, the Serac has the functionality of a skinning and a caping knife. Made in the USA from super premium S35VN steel for long lasting edge retention, the Serac is a "one knife" solution for hunters that prefer a deeper belly blade in an ultralight package.

Why S35VN Steel-In order to make a knife that would hold an edge to cut an entire elk without needing to be sharpened, we wanted the best steel on the market. We wanted a steel that could hold an edge, but wasn't so hard that you couldn't field hone it if you needed to. With its' high Chromium and Vanadium content, as well as the structural alignment of the steel that occurs during the heat treatment, S35VN is simply the best steel on the market for hunting knives with its' unmatched durability, hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.

The Tek Lok attaches to the 1" hole spacing on our knife sheaths and allows you a variety of ways to wear or attach any of our knives to any MOLLE webbing or any belt up to 1.5" in diameter.

Pleasant Surprise

I have had a few knife set ups for back country hunting, I was running the havalons but kept breaking off or running cheaper fixed blades but they'd lose the edge quickly. Was toying around with mkc and Benchmade then ran i to argali via a friend. It actually made quick work of a recent deer and it was quite enjoyable not having to struggle with a knife. Happy to have gone with the serac after getting a recommendation from one of their reps.

Great design, holds edge great

Bought this knife in the leadup to a Colorado deer hunt as I needed to get something more high quality. This knife lived up to my expectations and held its edge through the entire breakdown of a good sized buck. The ergonomics of this knife are great especially with how lightweight it is, the dimpling in the handle made it extremely easy to use even when covered in blood or fat from the deer. 100/10 product.

"Just the right size"

I am not a regular review poster but this knife is exceptional! Not too big, not too small, stellar quality build and super light for its size. What is there not to like!

Absolutely hands down the best knife I’ve ever owned!
I have everything from Benchmade to Arno Bernard knives and everything in between and they don’t come close to the performance of this knife! BUY ONE!! If you don’t like it I’ll buy it from you and wonder what’s wrong with you.
