from 1314 reviewsWell Argali……you’ve officially ruined me. I can never go back to cold tent hunting again!
Great to wake up on a cold morning and crank up the woodstove!
5 stars!
I purchased the 4P Argali Absaroka back in the summer of 2022. I use it about 30 nights a season between spring bear hunts and fall deer hunts. I like to wait on reviews till I have really put things to the test. This is hands down my favorite shelter all time. Wind, rain, snow, ease of setup, durability, weight - I love it. Highly recommended, picture attached is from a blizzard that rolled in on our hunt country mule deer hunt this year. The tent was still standing without any issues, even with the extreme amount of weight on it. Just a strong, built to last tent!
I’ve tried numerous outdoor/camping/backpacking pillows over the years and this is the lightest, most comfortable, and most convenient one I’ve found. I roll up my puffy jacket and place it inside and have the best pillow possible outside of the organic ones I have at home. Great job!
I’m pleased with my purchase, I hunted Colorado first rifle and used them every day. I’d recommend this product
Went through 2 antelope and a mule deer without needing to be sharpened.
Great tent! took it out with my ultralight hot stove and it's awesome! For new users, ensure to use the guylines; it helps keep it taut. I'm 5'6 and I fit well in it, but if you're about 6' above, maybe you'll need something a bit bigger. Otherwise, its good for pack weight, and can squeeze into your bag well.
Was my first use with these bags so I cant speak much on then besides they did their job and let the meat breathe for aging. Packed a smaller mule deer buck a short distance and each bag had plenty of room. 2 hindquarters could fit in one bag so I had one leftover bag just in case.
So easy to set up and great size. I am a tall guy and was worried about the size. Used on one trip so far and have loved it. Love the option for a stove later on.
I was really impressed with the packability and comfort of this pillow. I’ve owned several other backpacking style pillows on the market, but I really appreciate the ability to stuff it with clothing and the packability this pillow has. Super comfortable!
Recently acquired this bag and took it out for a multi-day hunt in the mountains. I was at 8,000ft and the overnight lows were at 18-22 degrees over the duration of my trip. The sleeping bag performed well, I was using it in conjunction with the Argali pillow, but also with a sleeping bag liner. I stayed warm all night! I was impressed at the design of this bag, specifically with the down placement in critical areas of the body to keep warm. I also own Feathered Friends sleeping bags which have been my standard for a performance down bag. I would say that the Argali bags match the performance of the feathered friends bags. I will be looking forward to see how it holds up over time!
We did not pack an elk out very far however I didn’t have a doubt in my mind that it would be able to handle anything we threw at it.
I have found when the meat dries it does tend to stick to the game bags. It does not tear or hurt the meat in anyway. Mainly an observation.
Great product and will use for many years to come.
This thing is incredible. The down topper is legit and you can fill the body out as much or as little as you want. It’s an absolutely perfect piece of gear.
I used this tent set up for elk season in central Idaho on an elk hunting trip. Several times setting this up on a logging roads or clearings waiting for the morning to sneak up on a bull proved quick and efficient setup earning praise from several hunting partners in the ease of set up and security of structure during weather. The tent was a breeze to setup and take down and was lightweight to pack into the backcountry. Comfortable nights and light packs made this an essential part of heart for western adventures
Used the sleeping bag on two different backcountry hunts in Oregon and Idaho. The bag worked really well in sub freezing temps. The bag’s technology allows for sweat and moisture to escape.
