from 1369 reviewsThis tent is amazing. Super simple to set up, extremely light weight, and perfect for any season. What more could you want? Great for backpacking into the mountains or a quick base camp. The stove is so simple to set up, lightweight, and keeps you comfortable at night when the temperature drops. We have the half nest, which makes it great to separate your sleeping section from your gear that you want to stay dry from the elements. But, I can see why pitching without the nest also works well, and will eliminate a few more ounces from your pack.
Bought sleeping bag for my nephew in Montana.
Avid Hunter and Hiker. He loves, loves it. Thank you for great quality gift. Gotta keep my favorite Aunt status.
After a lot of research, I landed on this stove and I couldn't be happier so far. The size and form factor fit my needs perfectly, and I greatly appreciate how easy it is to setup. I also love NOT having lots of pieces to put the stove together like others on the market, and the flip out legs are great.
With my old school bags, I carry 2 as they are heavy. 2 are heavier than 4 of the argali. Now, I can carry the whole kit in a smaller package than my previous 2. And, I used them just the other day on a young bull taken in the deep dark timber.
Knife comes razor sharp, I broke down a whitetail and an elk with minor touching up. Looks like I never even used it, cleans up easy, lightweight yet easy to hand hold.
After much debate over the 2P or 4P tents. I settled on the 4P tent with half insert. I am glad that I did. While not requiring a huge footprint. This shelter feels like it provides lots of room. The extra floor space for gear storage and the extra height for getting dressed is worth the extra cost alone. I chose to seam seal the shelter myself. After watching video's. This task may have taking 45 minutes. The first trip I had two days of rain. No leaks, no problems and stayed totally dry. I would highly recommend this shelter for durability and ease of use. Looking forward to purchasing the wood stove next for winter outings.
Used this stove for a week hunting Elk in CO during late season. It was perfect! Quicker set up and better carrying case than competitors.
These bags are awesome, packed out a north Idaho mule deer with them, quarters fit great in the bags, solid construction, lightweight , well made very breathable and kept the mess inside the bag and not in your pack, hung the quarters and they stayed way chill for 7 days, beautiful meat. Will be buying more
Love these bags! Super light and super tough. My buddies were impressed too.
I took the tent out for Colorado 2nd rifle this year. Tent held up good to the mild conditions were up against. Tent was light to pack and solid once up. Takes me a bit longer to set up vs a traditional pole frame tent, but it wasn’t terribly hard to set up.
Absolutely love this knife!! I have a much of premium steel knives from other makers. This is honestly the best I have for deer. It’s the perfect size for field work and breaking down everything at home. Razor sharp!
I purchased this specifically for Colorado in late October. It worked perfectly for two plus the stove; very packable, and setup/takedown was both fast and intuitive. We stayed warm even when temps dropped into low teens and it held up well through a night of wind gusts above 40mph.
My hunting partner runs a traditional tent from another company and this has unanimously become our go to moving forward.
I would give two critiques for future versions: I'd like to see the spikes be a bit more stout and an improvement on the stove legs to add stability.
That being said, I had contacted Argali about ordering a longer pipe for this tent as I got the stove when I purchased the Rincon 2p a few years ago. The responsiveness was phenomenal and I cannot say enough good things about this tent and Argali.
