The Rincon 2P Insert fits inside our Rincon 2P tent to provide full double wall coverage when bugs are an issue or if you simply prefer a traditional double wall tent. The Rincon Insert features our innovative quick connect design making connecting, setting up and getting the pitch right easy and fast. The Rincon Insert is designed to be a "floating" bathtub floor, which allows for greater versatility when pitching in slightly uneven terrain.
The Rincon insert is designed to easily and quickly connect to the Rincon tent via 4 lightweight sliding wiregate carabiners that clip into sewn-in pieces of cord on the inside corners of the tent. We also use color matching webbing on the guy-out points for the tent and insert so matching up the correct corners is easy and quick.
To set up, connect the wiregate carabiners to the corners using our color-matched webbing. Once the corners are connected, stake out the 4 corners of the tent and insert the center pole inside the Insert. Then, stake out the remaining guy-out locations. Last, snug up the bathtub floor by pulling the paracord attached to the lineloc corners on the corners of the tent.
I have nothing but good things to say about the Rincon. The insert was purchased so I could use the tent with my wife who does not like the idea of a floorless tent. We used the insert this summer with our baby and dog. There was not much extra room for gear, but boots were store underneath the tent outside the insert and the rest of our gear was in our packs under the pack rain covers. The insert worked great and the full setup is still very lightweight. Highly recommend!
Used the insert with the tent portion on a recent backpacking trip with my daughter. The whole setup was split between the two of us, and it worked out great. Enough room for both of us and my GSD. Can't wait for the next adventure with my Rincon!

Just used this insert on a 29 mile backpacking trip in Arkansas and it worked out great. The weight savings is what makes this a great product.
This is great, and it clips into the tent easy. Whole system sets up super quick and does a good job keeping bugs out.
