from 1170 reviewsGreat tent, light weight, and easy to assemble and disassemble. Used for 8 nights in northern Idaho with 3 people. Room for portable wood stove. (Would be tight with 4 people and wood stove.)

So I’ve been waiting to write this review for a while now, I’ve had this shelter since June/July. I used it on numerous summer scouting trips in NM for elk in the Gila wilderness. I was able to compress it down in a 5qt compression sack allowing me to maximize space and pack ability. I recently spent 9 days on the hunt and was able to camp anywhere I wanted due to that factor. It’s extremely light and durable. It did everything I needed and more especially since it rained everyday, yet everything inside stayed dry.

Light and versatile. Just what I was hoping for with this tarp!

Light weight and durable. They clean easily as well.

When every ounce counts, the Argali guide series game bags make the difference; light, strong and easy to handle and care. Don’t think twice, get some today, you will be glad you did.

Best customer service I’ve dealt with in a very long time. Had a minor issue with a game bag and they absolutely made sure I was happy by the end of the transaction. Quick and very helpful.

Like the locking system better than the regular tek lok. Easy to use and position.

Awesome tipi. Used it on a backcountry elk for 2 people and it was a mansion. Light enough to pack on our goats with a half insert. Held up fantastic in wind and rain. Enough space for our gear and goat gear. Looking forward to the next adventure in this thing

I ordered this tent to replace a tipi made by another brand. The quality of this tent is impressive, especially for the price-point. I can verify that the material does not stretch or sag even after days in the sun or getting soaked by heavy rains. I spent several nights above tree-line and it stayed put even with high winds and very large hail storms. I seamsealed it myself and it was easy. The zipper is buttery smooth. I especially like that a nice tight pitch does not pull on the zipper. Thats what made my other tipi fail and why i was hesitant to try another tipi. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also the Argali customer support is great, should you need to use it.

Perfect for those backcountry hunts when camp is on your back. This is my first single person tent that sets up using a single trekking pole. I was always skeptical to how sturdy this style of tent would be. However, after spending 14 nights in the high country in this tent, I can testify first hand that its fully capable to withstand those uninvited thunderstorms. It's lite weight, compact, durable and sturdy. My new go to tent.

stupid light and beyond multi functional. Vital piece of gear

Love the 1/2 insert. I’m a bigger person 6’6 220lb and have plenty of room in side to sleep.

I just wrapped up a 12 day moose/caribou hunt in the Brooks Range in Alaska. Having one of the wettest weeks in recent years made for some very challenging conditions. This tarp from Argali completely changed the level of comfort we were able to achieve to keep at it day after day in terrible weather. While most would have been hiking back to camp, we were able to hunker down and achieve higher success because of it. I will never not have this tarp in my pack.

Freshly back from a fly in mountain hunt in Alaska.
Tent held up very well considering what it went through. Multiple nights of 40+ mph wind and lots and lots of rain. The bottom of the nest bathtub does have a few small holes from being set up in the only flat spots in rocks we could find. The tent only got flattened once due to one of the guy lines getting pulled out (hard to sink a stake in rock) during what I would term a “hammering” gust. Overall our 4P did all we asked of it by keeping us as dry as we could have expected for the conditions.
Recommendations:
1) two more guy line locations one side of each door.
2) make it even lighter by getting rid of the one of the doors. Have two doors makes it really convenient for moving in and out while it’s nice out, but when the weather really sucks you can’t have both open anyway and it’s just added weight at that point.
3) improve that vent prop pole. Messed with it a bunch because there were a couple times were erratic winds would be able to flip the vent up just enough to bring the sideways rain in.
I still give it five stars because, well it went through a lot and we didn’t die.
