The Rincon 2P is the ideal lightweight 2 person mountain tent, with a single trekking pole pitch, spacious interior, removeable stove jack, no-sag when wet fabric, single zipper door, and modified rectangular shape for optimal pitching in uneven terrain. Designed to be a spacious 2 person tent for riding out storms or 1 person palace with a stove, the Rincon strikes a balance between space, weight and size ideal for mountain hunting.

With a modified rectangular shape, the Rincon sets up easily and quickly and there is no guess-work to get the pitch right every time. The shape is also optimzed for an efficient space to weight ratio, easily fitting two large people and all of your gear. The Rincon 2P is made from our lightweight yet strong ripstop polyester fabric that won't sag when wet, maintaining the usable space inside the tent in wet weather.

The Rincon also features sewn in lin-loc adjusters on all guy-out points for quick and easy pitching adjustments. Pitch it low to the ground for full weather protection and to block drafts, or higher to allow for more air flow. The Rincon is also sewn with a silicone coated thread and double lap-felled seams, making it highly water resistant out of the box.

The Rincon 2P also comes with our ARC Removeable Stove Jack System, designed to be run in lightweight mode or stove mode when you want a hot tent. With our zippered stove jack design, the removeable stove jack allows you to keep tent weight and bulk to a minimum during warmer months if you aren't using a stove, while allowing stove use during the colder months, all with a single tent. Gone are the days of having to pack around a dedicated stove jack when you aren't using it.

The Rincon 2P is ideal for two people and normal amounts of gear, or 1 person with a stove and lots of gear. The Rincon can be used as a floorless shelter or with the Rincon 2P Insert with a bathtub floor/mesh body for full double wall coverage (sold separately). A carbon fiber center pole can also be used to pitch the tent (sold separately).

The Rincon 2P needs to be seam sealed to be fully waterproof. You can do it yourself with the seam sealer included with your purchase, or we can do it for you for an extra charge. For more information on seam sealing, check out our seam sealing instruction page.

*If you select to have us seam seal your tent, expect a 5-7 day delay in shipment.

Great Tipi Tent For Going In Light & Fast

I don't think there's a smaller tipi that allows you to have the stove right now on the market. It's super light and worked great last fall on my elk hunt. I had the stove going, and it warmed it up. Good product. We're using it for our spring bear hunt this year as well.

Used it last weekend in

Used it last weekend in floorless mode with a bivy sack. Got snowed on in the night but the tent held up to it well. The condensation was pretty bad, as expected, but manageable. I like teepee tents because they are easy to set up and pretty sturdy. This one did not disappoint.

Best Backcountry Tent on the Market and GREAT Customer Service!

I purchased the Argali Rincon 2P tent as well as the full insert and center pole. I have ran this tent for an entire hunting season across multiple environments and weather conditions. Needless to say, as a 6'5" hunter, this thing is incredibly roomy and comfortable. Not only that, but it is extremely lightweight and pack-able.

I recently discovered that the center pole was missing the adjustable pitch slots, due to the fact that I was given two non adjustable pieces. After reaching out to Argali, I had the part I needed shipped minutes later. If you are looking to upgrade to the lightest and most durable shelter setup on the market, then you're in the right place.

The Taj-Ma-Shelter!!!

My favorite shelter to date!!!

I have been camping, packing and backcountry hunting since the 80's. Tarps, flys, ponchos, bivys, multiple brands and sizes of tents. The Rincon is currently my favorite.

I have been using the Big Agnes Copper Spur with the Hotel Vestibule for several years. As one of my hunting partners stated "It is like a dogs trusted kennel". The Copper Spur has been bullet proof and reliable on many hunts. However, it is somewhat bulky and a bit heavy.

I recently added the Rincon to my shelter inventory and it has become my shelter of choice. Only 5oz heavier than the Owyhee 1 person and nearly twice the room. The Rincon, advertised as a 2 person shelter, is every bit of 2 adults PLUS their gear. Add to that, a stove jack for a winter pack-in heat source!

I have yet to run the shelter in floorless mode, as the insert does not add much weight or bulk to the pack-load, and the added comfort of the bathtub style insert is a comfort feature I am willing to carry. I use the carbon pole Argali has designed for the shelter. I am an amputee and rely on my trekking poles in the backcountry and do not want to drop my shelter to the ground when spiked out. The carbon pole is super lightweight and a convenient addition to my load-out.

The Rincon has certainly pleased, performed and swiftly become my favorite shelter.

Just ok

Not as waterproof as I thought. Also had a lot of condensation.
