Torex Pant

Some of the best hunting pants ive ever worn.

I just purchased and used the Torex pants, so far I've only used them one day. The primary reason for choosing this pant was the versatility, midseason weight with venting for when temperatures are warmer. The pants performed as anticipated, I get hot easily so the venting was appreciated.
I have two design issues otherwise I would say a 5-star is likely. First, the fly zipper goes full length and ends behind the button, its a bit challenging to get to with a belt on. A two-way zipper so you could open for quick relief would be nice. Second, the hand pockets are ample with easy access (the contouring of the pocket entrance is a little loose). This allows debris to get into the pocket, not an issue in most cases but getting pine needles filling up your pocket when tying a horse to a tree is annoying.

I had planned to take the Argali Torex Pants on my recent 12-day Colorado backcountry elk hunt as my backup option in case the weather turned colder than expected. Unfortunately, due to a shipping issue, the Torex Pants never made it to me before the trip, so I can’t give an honest review of their performance in the field.

What I can review is Argali’s customer service. Once the issue was identified, the Argali team took swift action to make it right. Their communication and willingness to correct the situation were exactly what you hope to see from a company that stands behind its gear and its customers.

As it turned out, I was able to wear my Argali Vesper Pants for the entire 12-day hunt, through a wide range of Colorado mountain conditions, and they performed exceptionally well. The Torex was intended to be my colder-weather backup, but the Vespers handled everything the trip threw at me.

While I’m still looking forward to putting the Torex Pants through their own backcountry test, Argali’s response to the shipping issue and the performance I experienced from the Vespers only reinforced my confidence in the company and its gear.

Great gear is important, but a company that stands behind its customers matters just as much. Argali delivered on that.

Fantastic fit and true to size. These pants are my 100% go too. Being from Idaho is a plus as well. Quality all the way around!
