Carbon Knife

Crafted in the USA from super-premium S35VN stainless steel for superior edge retention, the Carbon Knife is also made with textured G10 removable handles, which gives the knife the feel of full handled blade at the weight of a skeletonized knife, weighing in at a meager 1.8 ounces.
Why S35VN Steel-In order to make a knife that would hold an edge to cut an entire elk without needing to be sharpened, we wanted the best steel on the market. We wanted a steel that could hold an edge, but wasn't so hard that you couldn't field hone it if you needed to. With its' high Chromium and Vanadium content, as well as the structural alignment of the steel that occurs during the heat treatment, S35VN is simply the best steel on the market for hunting knives with its' unmatched durability, hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.

The Tek Lok attaches to the 1" hole spacing on our knife sheaths and allows you a variety of ways to wear or attach any of our knives to any MOLLE webbing or any belt up to 1.5" in diameter.

As others have said the ergonomics of this knife are perfect. It fits great in the hand, has grip in all the right places and is awesome to work with. I just got a chance to field dress a bear with it and it worked flawlessly, held it's edge the entire time. I brought it home, washed it up and put it back to work butchering and found myself reaching for this knife more than my boning knife that I've been using to butcher for years. Argali nailed it with this knife, couldn't be happier!

I got this knife when it first came out in 2019. I am about to buy the sawtooth and realized I should probably write a long-term use review for the Carbon. Right out of the box I was immediately blown away by the ergonomics of this knife! I have a TON of knives and try to stay on the lighter side, always trying to find the perfect blend of lightweight but functional/ergonomics and the carbon knife IS JUST THAT. Perfect jimping in all the right areas, perfect blade thickness and steel choice for an all around perfect knife. There is so much attention to detail, including the G10 scales you don't see in some of these other lightweight knives, which makes a big difference when you are using the knife for it's intended purpose. Don't get sucked in by the marketing of some of these other companies that emphasize lightweight hunting knives, the Argali team has done it right! It has proven itself throughout the years processing countless animals and game. What I didn't realize is that it would soon replace all my EDC knives and I carry this daily for everything from the kitchen to becoming a box opening ninja. JUST BUY IT AND DON'T LOOK BACK!
I shot a small 5x4 elk last year, 5.5 miles back in the wilderness. Skinned and deboned the entire elk by my self without touching up the blade once. Light weight and dependable! Good thing too, because it was the only knife I hade with me. I can’t say enough good things about this knife. If you live in the backcountry in the fall, it needs to be in your pack!
