Vesper Pant

I just returned form my 2 week back country elk hunt and wore the Vesper pant. A few amazing features blew away competition (Kuiu and Stone Glacier). The fabric is so quiet and stretches perfectly. The best feature is the zippers, they are so smooth and the only pant I’ve found with one hand operation!!! Love these pants, outstanding job nailing the design.

I've hunted in these pants for the 2026 archery season and have been very pleased. They fit well and move well while hiking and sitting. These are lighter than other hunting pants I've used before and the vent seem to work better to keep my cool.

I wish I could order in selected lengths, because mine are a touch too long, but it was never a problem while hiking. It also takes a bit to get used to the zipper/button.

Overall, these were and excellent purchase and I would recommend them over other pants on the market.

I just put the Argali Vesper Pants through about as good of a real-world test as I could ask for, 12 days elk hunting in the Colorado backcountry.

Over those 12 days, I dealt with everything from warm afternoons and long climbs to cold mornings, wind, rain, wet vegetation, and constantly changing mountain weather. I put a lot of miles on these pants, climbed through steep and nasty terrain, busted brush, and spent long days living out of a pack.

The Vesper Pants performed incredibly well.

They’re lightweight and breathable when you’re moving, but still provided enough protection when the weather turned. The stretch and freedom of movement were excellent on steep climbs and sidehilling, and they never felt restrictive. Just as importantly, after nearly two weeks of hard backcountry use, they held up extremely well.

What impressed me most was their versatility. Instead of constantly changing layers as conditions changed, the Vespers handled a huge range of temperatures and weather. For a backcountry hunt where every ounce matters and I want gear that can serve multiple purposes, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

After 12 straight days chasing elk through the Colorado mountains, I can confidently say the Argali Vesper has earned a permanent spot in my hunting system.

Comfortable, lightweight, durable, breathable, and built for the mountains. I’ll absolutely be wearing them on my next elk hunt.

Good pants. My personal preference is hip vents without mesh like SG pants. The little bit of debris that might come in through open vents is a small price to pay for the huge improvement in venting heat because even mesh vents hold too much heat for me. I'd also prefer flaps over my thigh pockets rather than zippers because I've never lost anything from a thigh pocket that just had flaps and there is less noise and quicker access. With all that being said, these are still great pants. I'd put these right up there with the De Havilland Lite from SG with mesh vs no mesh being the deciding factor for me. The Vesper is quieter and the fabric lighter. It has a great fit and I didn't feel like it stretched in anyway after multiple days afield. I like the fit at the boots as well as there isn't excess fabric to rub when you're walking. These pants look just as good on the street as they do out in the mountains. Money well spent; you can't go wrong with purchasing a pair of these pants.

I’ve had the Vespers and wanted to hold off on review until mid season. Thank you Brad for developing these. Best bowhunting pant on the market, hands down! After 10 days on the mountain and a brutal pack out, they’ve held up amazingly well.
