The Soloist

The Soloist follows Brad deep into the backcountry in late September as he pursues mature bulls with his bow. For him, elk hunting is about filling the freezer, but the challenge of taking a mature bull is what fuels his passion.

A great hunt is about the perfect stalk, a clean shot, and a solid plan. Sometimes it all comes together—sometimes it doesn’t. This film captures both the relentless effort and the unforgettable moments of archery season in the high country.
