Some hunts are measured by the animal at the end. Others are measured by everything it took to get there. 

Balance follows Jake Downs on a Nebraska whitetail hunt with a traditional bow, but this isn't simply the story of one deer. It's the story of a man who has intentionally built a life where family, hard work, and hunting don't compete but they strengthen one another. Whether he's coaching his kids, putting in a full day's work, or slipping into the woods for a hunt, Jake shows every hour in the field is something that must be earned.

Set in the country Jake calls home, Balance explores the gratitude that comes from having access to incredible hunting close to home and the responsibility that comes with it. Traditional bowhunting provides the backdrop, but the heart of the film is about stewardship, discipline, and appreciating the opportunities that many hunters spend a lifetime searching for.
