The Serac MagnaCut features the same popular handle and blade shape of our standard Serac Knife, but with premium CPM MagnaCut Steel for long lasting edge retention, mirror polish finish and Ruby Red G10 scales.
The Argali Serac is a lightweight, backcountry hunting knife with a full handle grip and a modified skinning style blade designed to cut up any big game animal without needing to be sharpened. Complete with a ferro rod striker built into the spine of the knife, we designed the Serac for those that prefer a deeper belly knife, but still want a "do it all" knife for field butchering. With a deep belly and a drop point blade tip for tight spaces and detail work, the Serac has the functionality of a skinning and a caping knife. 100% made in the USA, the Serac is a "one knife" solution for hunters that prefer a deeper belly blade in an ultralight package.
I haven't used it for anything cool yet, but it is super light and sharp.
I have now used this blade on multiple wild pigs multiple whitetail deer and a blacktail. I havent had to put a new edge on it a single time. I have stropped after every animal was done but thats all it needed. Saves weight and time butchering. Will buy another in the future. Truly an amazing product keep killing the game argali.
Shot a 300 pound bear in Georgia and used this to skin/quarter the whole thing without resharpening. It’s also lightweight which helps when you go really far in there.
Very impressed with the knife. Haven’t been fortunate enough to use it yet but it seems to check all the boxes for a lightweight hunting knife. The only real competitor I can find is bench made steep country. No one else seems to be in the same league

Have been looking to grab this knife for a while now after a few hunting seasons as the bushcraft knife i had been using was just too heavy for edc in the backcountry. I also usually have a folding knife in the pocket but wanted a light, dedicated fixed blade for field dressing. My goodness this thing is light. Also has an excellent grip just enough to keep hold and be comfortable. I got the clip to go with it as well and I have no doubt it'll fit my needs in the field during my archery elk hunt this year. I considered and compared this knife with a choice I liked on MKC, and ended up choosing this and have 0 buyers remorse after receiving it! Quickly becoming a fan of the limited products offered here at Argali.
