Detailed Overview
Detailed Overview
The Vesper is the quietest, most comfortable and durable early season pair of pants you will ever own. Built for multi-day backcountry hunts, the feature set is designed to be simple and functional with off-set thigh cargo pockets, one-handed zipper operation and full length hip vents.
Made with a durable 2-way stretch nylon fabric with a PFAs free DWR coating, full length hip vents, bonded seams in high wear areas and a lightweight, breathable brushed pocket mesh, the Vesper will keep you cool and comfortable on early season hunts, but we put enough room in the legs so you can layer underneath to use them through the season. With a mid-length rise and a generous gussetted crotch, the Vesper allows maximum un-restriced range of movement for hiking in the mountains.
The Vesper is designed with a tapered leg fit to minimize fabric rubbing and catching on brush. We also included a fly zipper that goes to the top of the waist band to minimze waist stretch over the course of multi-day hunts.
The technical features, fit and construction of the Vesper Pant make it the ideal early season pant for mountain hunting.

Vesper Pant
capable and durable pair of pants. Was pleasantly surprised by how warm they were. Only critique is the waist sizing was smaller than what I usually get from a 34 but still fit.
I wore this pant on two elk hunts this season; one bow hunt and a rifle hunt. The area I was in had a ton of dead fall. There were places where you could not even take 4 steps without trying to figure out how you were going to get over the next downed tree that, of course, still had a ton of branches. The pants were constantly getting snagged on those branches but held up like a champ; no rips or tears despite it all. My legs were never overly sweaty or uncomfortable thanks to the vents, despite of highs being the 70s and tons of sun. I'm very happy and impressed with the pant and highly recommend them.
Quiet and dries quickly are my primary concerns when it comes to a mountain pant. These pants do all that very well. Next is the fit I'm 6'2" 200lbs. athletic build legs fit and crotch fit great and this is my primary problem with other mountain pants. There's no bunching or tight spots when needing to crouch for a stalk or stay low and move to get closer. I find this to be a problem in other pants where I'll get pinching behind my knees or crotch area making the stalk uncomfortable when its the moment of truth.
My only criticism is the pocket configuration is a little basic. I would prefer more pockets so I can organize essentials in various pockets vs. stuffing things all together and having to sift through my pockets to get what I need. However the stretch is so good you still dont get the pinching even with loaded pockets.
The vest for pants fit well and I’m looking forward to using them this deer season.
