ABOUT
Carbon X Trekking Poles
We purchased a pair to use on a trip to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica. They performed perfectly. Strong, light, versatile. The Coup de Gras was the difficult and sometimes treacherous Shackleton hike where we traced the final leg of Ernest Shackleton's return to civilization after the Endurance ordeal.
Great product! Just what we needed.
So far so good. Been using them all shed season. They are as advertised. The only improvement that I can offer is personal preference. I like the head of the grip to have more of a swell to it as I have a habit of using them like a cane coming down hill. The heads are quite small and don’t palm well. I suppose I’ll have to use them like they are meant to be used…..
Very light but also sturdy! Used them today for a few miles snowshoeing on hard pack. I walked a creek with some steep banks and wouldn't have been able to do it without these! Grip is great and fits perfect without gloves (I wear a LG/XL) but could be a tad bigger with gloves but it's really no issue for me. I'd recommend them!
Lightweight, compact and high quality.
Unbelievably strong for the weight
