Absolutely love this knife!! I have a much of premium steel knives from other makers. This is honestly the best I have for deer. It’s the perfect size for field work and breaking down everything at home. Razor sharp!
Absolutely love this knife. The balance and grip feel fantastic in hand, just the right size for gutting, caping, and boning. The Magnacut steel edge is impressively sharp and holds it well. It’s quickly become my go to knife for the field. May use it in the kitchen when it isn’t hunting season.
I had the opportunity to gut, cape, quarter, and bone two whitetails this weekend. I used the magnacut Carbon. I really enjoyed the blade shape and the jumping on the blade, knife is nimble and light but doesn't feel wimpy. Really pleased with how it handled and held up. I guess magnacut is all they say it is, as the blade was still able to shave against the grain after I was finished, stropping is all that was required to make it stupid sharp again. Great purchase and was pleased with the price as well.
Well I suck at hunting so haven’t got to try it out to much yet but seems to be a solid product. I’ll see how it goes in whitetail season.
Unfortunately I was unsuccessful this archery season for elk hunting. I will say that it was nice to have a super lightweight knife when I was hiking for many miles. This knife is super sharp too! Hopefully I can put it to proper use next season.
