Torex Pant

I had planned to take the Argali Torex Pants on my recent 12-day Colorado backcountry elk hunt as my backup option in case the weather turned colder than expected. Unfortunately, due to a shipping issue, the Torex Pants never made it to me before the trip, so I can’t give an honest review of their performance in the field.

What I can review is Argali’s customer service. Once the issue was identified, the Argali team took swift action to make it right. Their communication and willingness to correct the situation were exactly what you hope to see from a company that stands behind its gear and its customers.

As it turned out, I was able to wear my Argali Vesper Pants for the entire 12-day hunt, through a wide range of Colorado mountain conditions, and they performed exceptionally well. The Torex was intended to be my colder-weather backup, but the Vespers handled everything the trip threw at me.

While I’m still looking forward to putting the Torex Pants through their own backcountry test, Argali’s response to the shipping issue and the performance I experienced from the Vespers only reinforced my confidence in the company and its gear.

Great gear is important, but a company that stands behind its customers matters just as much. Argali delivered on that.

Fantastic fit and true to size. These pants are my 100% go too. Being from Idaho is a plus as well. Quality all the way around!

Love the 4 way stretch

Just finished a backpack sheep hunt in the Yukon in the Torex pants. They were awesome and fully tested as the hunt went to the last day. Stretched well, breathed while still providing warmth, netted hip vents were good as we had a billion mosquitos, tons of bushwhacking and the fabric held up very well. I’m a gear junky and have never written a review until now but wanted to endorse these.
I’m 5’10” and 198 pounds with pretty large legs. I used 36” size and they were true to fit but I’m on the borderline and have ordered a set of 34” for my next hunt.
