The Vesper is the quietest, most comfortable and durable early season pair of pants you will ever own. Built for multi-day backcountry hunts, the feature set is designed to be simple and functional with off-set thigh cargo pockets, one-handed zipper operation and full length hip vents.
Made with a durable 2-way stretch nylon fabric with a PFAs free DWR coating, full length hip vents, bonded seams in high wear areas and a lightweight, breathable brushed pocket mesh, the Vesper will keep you cool and comfortable on early season hunts, but we put enough room in the legs so you can layer underneath to use them through the season. With a mid-length rise and a generous gussetted crotch, the Vesper allows maximum un-restriced range of movement for hiking in the mountains.
The Vesper is designed with a tapered leg fit to minimize fabric rubbing and catching on brush. We also included a fly zipper that goes to the top of the waist band to minimze waist stretch over the course of multi-day hunts.

Great pant. I’m 5’8 about 165lbs with an athletic build. I struggle to find pants that fit in general due to my thinner waist and large athletic lower body. I bought the size 30 expecting them to be too small but they fit perfectly. I have plenty of room below the belt without it being too constricting. The athletic fit is top tier compared to any competition out there. In my opinion Argali nailed the fit.
The performance of the pant is the best I’ve experienced. They are lightweight and very breathable. On top of that they are very quiet. The zippered pockets do not snag and are an easy one hand operation. I ordered the tussuck color and they look sweet! The darker colored green Argali incorporated for the pockets is a great look and I hope they carry that idea for all their pants in the future.
I only have one gripe for these pants and that is the general length inseam. I believe my size 30 has a 32 length which is too long for me being 5’8 and the style of boots I wear. I typically hunt/hike/fish/scout in more of a barefoot style boot so the pant leg can fold under my heal (although with them being long they surprisingly do very well at not sliding down below my boot). I understand why Argali did this and this may not be an issue if you wear thicker traditional boots. I would like to see in the future the option for different length inseam.
To wrap this up, I also bought the guide air fleece and it too is great! I will not hesitate to buy every piece of clothing coming out in their new clothing system. Brad has great designs and is putting a lot of thought and testing behind the products they release.

My favorite pants to date! Absolutely love the fit of these pants! Liked them so much I ordered a second pair and will be putting them through the grinder on my 2026 DIY fly-in Alaskan Moose, Black bear and wolf hunt. Love that the side zips have mesh, think ticks in the spring for black bear in Idaho! Athletic cut to them and they stretch great. Not baggie in the crotch either. If you are on the fence just order a pair or two. Thanks for taking care of first responders and military guys!

The build quality and technical thought that went into these pant is superb! I wore them throughout turkey season here in Arkansas and they were extremely comfortable and durable. There are a lot of blackberry briars where I hunt and they are a nightmare on pants. While the Vesper pant had a few thread pulls it held up far better than other brands of equal or higher price point. Can’t wait for a camo version!!
Great pants, lightweight and tough enough to handle southern NM backcountry hunting. I’m 5’11” and 190 lbs and the 34s fit me great!
