Production Assistant Job Summary

We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our company. The warehouse assistant will be responsible for helping to ensure inventory is processed, organized, and stored in addition to keeping the warehouse organized. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and experienced in inventory software and databases. They must be able to lift 50+ lbs, be a team player and ensure accurate and timely orders. We are a growing company, so being open to other duties as needed is a must.

Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Move inventory and materials across facilities

  • Process inventory for delivery

  • Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location

  • Package items and label correctly

  • Stack and organize products

  • Bi-weekly inventory count

  • Assembling boxes for product

  • Update logs and documentation for inventory processing

  • Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations

  • Work as an active team member to complete team goals

  • Clean and keep warehouse and office spaces free of clutter and debris

  • Break down cardboard boxes and take out trash

Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license

  • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to work independently

  • Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory

  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

  • Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state

  • Must be able to work at least 15-20 hours per week depending on company needs 

Compensation and Hours

  • $15-$18 an hour depending on experience

  • May 15th through September 30th with an option to work beyond

  • 20-30 hours a week 

  • Flexible schedule
