The Rincon 2P Insert fits inside our Rincon 2P tent to provide full double wall coverage when bugs are an issue or if you simply prefer a traditional double wall tent. The Rincon Insert features our innovative quick connect design making connecting, setting up and getting the pitch right easy and fast. The Rincon Insert is designed to be a "floating" bathtub floor, which allows for greater versatility when pitching in slightly uneven terrain. 

The Rincon insert is designed to easily and quickly connect to the Rincon tent via 4 lightweight sliding wiregate carabiners that clip into sewn-in pieces of cord on the inside corners of the tent.  We also use color matching webbing on the guy-out points for the tent and insert so matching up the correct corners is easy and quick.

To set up, connect the wiregate carabiners to the corners using our color-matched webbing. Once the corners are connected, stake out the 4 corners of the tent and insert the center pole inside the Insert. Then, stake out the remaining guy-out locations. Last, snug up the bathtub floor by pulling the paracord attached to the lineloc corners on the corners of the tent.

    This is great, and it clips into the tent easy. Whole system sets up super quick and does a good job keeping bugs out.

    13 nights in Wyoming

    Spent 13 nights in the Wind River Range in August in Wyoming in the Rincon and its 2p insert. All over 10K feet elevation. Tent (and insert) are really well designed. No extra bells and whistles that add weight and bulk, but just the really important things that make a tent practical and usable. Spent most of one day in a hard, high elevation rainstorm and tent was flawless. Spent several hours of another day in a strong high elevation hailstorm, and again: flawless. I recommend it and would buy another.

    Perfect Addition

    This is the perfect addition to the Rincon TP. I bought the TP a couple years ago and began the floor-less shelter adventure, but would get destroyed by mosquitoes and other no-see-ems during summer camping and scouting trips. Adding the nest to the system is perfect for the summer, with or without the TP portion.

    I love the fact you can clip this inside the tent and fit both plus stakes in the tent stuff sack.
