Regular price $193.99 $0.00 Unit price per

Ultralight and ultra-sharp, the Carbon Knife from Argali is a "one knife" solution for backcountry hunters that want to be able to cut up an entire elk or deer without needing to sharpen their knife. Crafted in the USA from super-premium S35VN stainless steel for superior edge retention, the Carbon Knife is also made with textured G10 removable handles, which gives the knife the feel of full handled blade at the weight of a skeletonized knife, weighing in at a meager 1.8 ounces

Why S35VN Steel-In order to make a knife that would hold an edge to cut an entire elk without needing to be sharpened, we wanted the best steel on the market. We wanted a steel that could hold an edge, but wasn't so hard that you couldn't field hone it if you needed to. With its' high Chromium and Vanadium content, as well as the structural alignment of the steel that occurs during the heat treatment, S35VN is simply the best steel on the market for hunting knives with its' unmatched durability, hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.

    Outstanding

Just used my new knife processing two full deer back to back. It was still borderline "too sharp" by the end of the second animal. I love it. I just bought a second one as a gift for a friend.

This is the best hunting knife ever

I have owned this knife for several years and both field dressed and broken down many animals. I was reminded last week of how much I love this knife after a buddy and I doubled up on both elk and mule deer. I was amazed that with the help of a worksharp field sharpener (just the ceramic rod) it was as sharp at the end of breaking down 4 big animals as when we started. I just can't say enough about the Carbon knife. Looks great, feels great, and works GREAT! Just buy it. You will never regret it.

    Perfect backcountry knife

I bought this as a gift for my grandson who is just getting into hunting and I have been hunting for 57 years and find this to be the perfect knife for just about any job in the field.

    Great lightweight field knife

I’ve only had my carbon for a few weeks, so can’t speak to its long term durability or maintaining an edge, but it did work great for field dressing the two axis deer I’ve used it on so far. It’s incredibly lightweight and easy to handle for skinning and deboning meat. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the handle and scales, but they really do fit comfortably in hand and are easy to grip in various positions. The jimping on the spine of the blade is a little too aggressive, making it slightly difficult to clean up after use deboning, but it’s a minor inconvenience compared with the overall performance of the knife. I really liked the look of the carbon stealth, but quickly came to appreciate the added visibility of the orange scales in the field. Overall I’m very satisfied with the knife so far, and have recommended it to several friends. Thanks for a great product, Argali!

    Last knife I'll ever buy

As others have said the ergonomics of this knife are perfect. It fits great in the hand, has grip in all the right places and is awesome to work with. I just got a chance to field dress a bear with it and it worked flawlessly, held it's edge the entire time. I brought it home, washed it up and put it back to work butchering and found myself reaching for this knife more than my boning knife that I've been using to butcher for years. Argali nailed it with this knife, couldn't be happier!
