Ultralight and ultra-sharp, the Carbon Knife from Argali is a "one knife" solution for backcountry hunters that want to be able to cut up an entire elk or deer without needing to sharpen their knife. Crafted in the USA from super-premium S35VN stainless steel for superior edge retention, the Carbon Knife is also made with textured G10 removable handles, which gives the knife the feel of full handled blade at the weight of a skeletonized knife, weighing in at a meager 1.8 ounces

Why S35VN Steel-In order to make a knife that would hold an edge to cut an entire elk without needing to be sharpened, we wanted the best steel on the market. We wanted a steel that could hold an edge, but wasn't so hard that you couldn't field hone it if you needed to. With its' high Chromium and Vanadium content, as well as the structural alignment of the steel that occurs during the heat treatment, S35VN is simply the best steel on the market for hunting knives with its' unmatched durability, hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance.

    Couldn’t have been more happy

Couldn’t have been more happy with this knife. Was able to cut a whole mule deer buck up and it still held its sharpness. Argali constantly keeps putting out great products.

    Great knife, Great company!

I purchased this knife a few years ago, and it has performed better than expected. I processed at least two deer and tons of waterfowl with it before needing to be resharpened. Last month I decided to take advantage of the free sharpening service and sent the knife in. The process was very simple and got a return confirmation within a couple days saying the knife was on its way back. Very quick turn around time! Unfortunately, when checking the mail, the post office sent me a claim letter instead with pieces of the return packaging including a hand written post note saying the knife was now sharp and wishing me good luck on the season. The letter stated that the package was found opened and the contents gone. I am pretty sure the knife was stolen. Needless to say I was beyond frustrated. Even though I knew it wasn’t their fault, I decided to call Argali just to make sure some sort of mistake didn’t happen on their end such as sealing the package and forgetting to put the knife in it (I know I’ve made mistakes like that when busy and trying to rush). I spoke with Marshal and he confirmed that no such mistake was made and asked me which knife it was and would see if there was anything they could do for me. I went forward with filing the claim at the post office, and not two hours later I got a. Unexpected text from Marshal stating that they are sending me a new knife and apologizing for the occurrence. I was blown away! The misplaced knife was in no way their fault, but they still took care of me anyway. Talk about amazing customer service! I have had nothing but great results from all of their products I’ve purchased, and now I can say they have the outstanding customer service to match. Thank you Argali for going above and beyond most. I will be a customer for life.

    Great Knife

Last year I did a lot of research looking for a new hunting knife and I settled on this one.I got to use it on my Elk and it made quick work out that. The knife felt really balanced very comfortable in my hand. When I got my deer I thought i would try my Benchmade Bugout and it didn't come close to the same feel I very quickly went back to this knife. Two animals and is still sharp

    Lightweight, Great Design

I had seen the reviews for the Carbon Knife on YouTube and was very intrigued by it as my other hunting knife just did not seem to hold an edge (even though it's made of S30V steel). When Argali ran a Black Friday promotion, I decided to take the plunge. I have the Wicked Edge knife sharpening system and refined the factory edge, finishing it at 1000 grit. This past Friday I had the opportunity to put the knife to the test on a New York whitetail. The knife design worked very well in not only field dressing the buck, but also in skinning and quartering the animal. The edge remained quite sharp until it came into repeated contact with an expandable broadhead that was lodged into the backstraps where the ribcage and vertebrae meet. When I got home that evening, it didn't take long to restore the edge. I'm also confident the knife would have been more than sharp enough to complete the entire job had there not been that broadhead.
I really like the design of the sheath as it holds the blade securely and requires some force to pull it out. The G10 handles provide a secure grip even with rubber gut gloves covered in blood. The jimping on the back of the blade gave an extra measure of confidence that my fingers would not slip. Additionally, the knife cleaned up very easily and still looks great. The blade design makes this a very versatile tool that can be used to for all facets of animal processing.
